Client: Lucite International

Project: 4th and 5th floors of Cumberland House, Southampton

VLCI was authorized by TDA Interiors to carry out works on behalf of Lucite International in their new office space in Southampton.

The complete refurbishment project started with constructing new, solid and glass partitioning forming 12 high quality offices, 2 meeting rooms, communication room, storage rooms and reception area. The office layout was further enhanced by the glass frontages being set out in a “wave” detail rather than straight run making it a really interesting and original feature.

Work continued into installing additional sound baffles that were fitted above the office walls to minimise sound transfer between the rooms. It was very important for VLCI to assure that that all the details of highest quality of finish were met using a mix of full height cherry and walnut door within the scheme. To conclude the project VLCI decorated the new partitions introducing feature colour walls. We have completed the task within 6 weeks as agreed with Main Contractor.
